Cactus Pear Music Festival opens its 30th season with Invitation to the Dance, an evening that moves from intimate lyricism to transcendent intensity. From the haunting beauty of Vieuxtemps’ Élégie to a sparkling reimagining of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 14, the program culminates in Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, a deeply moving work of stillness, reflection, and hope. Featuring BPA favorites Jeffrey Sykes, Scott Cuellar, Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio, Carmit Zori, Aurélien Pederzoli, Lachezar Kostov, and Ilya Shterenberg, this opening night brings together artists BPA audiences know and love.
Admission is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, with donations gratefully accepted to support future programming and community access to the arts. Join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and music as we kick off this milestone season together at Blanco Performing Arts.
