We are thrilled to bring great music up close to YOU in the Uptown Blanco Ballroom for the 2024-2025 season. A jubilee is a celebration, and Season 15 is just that - a set of concerts designed to bring joy to our audience and the musicians who perform for them - one long party to commemorate the 15 years Blanco Performing Arts has hosted some of the most compelling classical music being performed anywhere in Texas.
The word jubilee carries solemnity and gravitas, marking the passing of time, like Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, and this 15th season invites back some of the best that BPA has presented over the years. Windsync first performed during COVID lockdown, performing our first in-person concert outside at the Uptown Courtyard, reigniting personal connections during a dark time. Miro Quartet first performed at BPA during our 6th season (nine years ago!) and Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio has wowed Blanco's music lovers since 2016. Jubilee also brings to mind the famous dessert with cherries, and music brings sweetness to life, a "special treat" to share with the community. October 5 | Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio, violin and Jeffrey Sykes, piano November 2 | Windsync February 8 | Miro Quartet March 23 | Brian Hecht, trombone and John Wilson, piano April 12 | Young Artist Recital: Miu Ishikawa, piano June 28 | Free Courtyard Concert: U.S. Air Force Band |
Six free student tickets are also available to each concert, reserve online only.
The music oozed Shalom, Paz, peace. The varied program kept the audience, including my grandson, anticipating each note."

It seemed as if the group were in our own home giving us our own special treat.
We were given a stop in time, one of those rare occasions in life when most of the audience were spell bound by the performance."
